10 More TEDA Enterprises Recognized as National SIE “Little Giants”
Recently, Tianjin Industrial and Information Technology Bureau announced the list of the 6th batch of national-level specialized and innovative “little giant” enterprises. 10 TEDA enterprises, including Jingxin Microelectronics, ROFS Microsystem and SINOMED, made the list. In this batch, they account for nearly one-third of the total of Tianjin, a record high both in terms of number and proportion. 8 other TEDA enterprises passed the re-evaluation of national-level specialized and innovative “little giant” enterprises. As of now, TEDA is home to 43 national-level specialized and innovative “little giants” and 216 municipal-level specialized and innovative SMEs, ranking among the top national-level development zones in China.
Specialized and innovative enterprises (SIEs) refer to SMEs with specialized, sophisticated, unique and novel competitiveness. They usually focus on specific segments of the industrial chain and possess unique expertise. Specialized and innovative “little giants” are the leaders among these SIEs, typically excelling in their niche markets with strong innovation capabilities, high market share, core technologies, and superior quality and efficiency.
